    Unhappy won after loading priiloader

My son got Tony Hawk Shred for his birthday and we are trying to get it to connect with the board without updating the system

I followed the some posts... in order to instal priiloader and block system updates.
Everything worked fine and it stopped asking for an update. But when you load the disk through the normal loader it shows the game, but when you click start it goes to a black screen and never loads the game. Any ideas?

Neogamma and Softchip loader both load the game fine but never can connect with the board.

Still can't play Tony Hawk Shred

my Neo Gamma does not have a option to switch to iso 223. (that I can find)
I tried the priiloader hack and no effect
I also looked in the Softchip loader but could not find the iso 223 either. (it did have 222 but when I loaded the game it still could not connect to the board.)

    Any ideas?

There is none. Don't listen to that used as they had no clue what they are talking about. There is a cIOS switcher for it but it's not included in NeoGamma and the cIOS switcher doesn't let you use Hermes' cIOS anyways if I'm not mistaken. You can try the cIOS switcher and try the supported cIOS that you have installed to see if it helps. You might want to update you cIOS if you are using outdated cIOS or just use the retail disc if all else fails.

Thanks for the quick reply.... I thought the retail disk was going to work because after using the priiloader hack to block updates it let me see the tony hawk shred game in the upper left corner but once you click start the screen goes black and then the whole system freezes.

Is it possible to update my iso without losing my USB loader ability?

Yes you can update you IOS safely but I'm getting confused because of the NeoGamma and softchip talk. I thought you were disc loading. Which USB loader are you using? Or are you using NeoGamma's ability to load off of a HDD?

    Ok.... Clarification
We play most of our games from an external HD. It is USB loader.
My son got the tony hawk shred game and board for his b-day.
And I am trying anyway I can to get it to play.
Since most of our games are on the external I don't want to lose the ability to use the USB loader and play the games.

So both NEO Gamma and Softchip loader we have used in the past to play games here in Asia. They will both load the game but won't connect to the board.
Since I turned off the updates through the priiloader I can see the disk in the normal location in the upper left corner of the wii screen.. .but it won't load.

I think I am running 4.1 on the wii.

Have you tried ripping it to your HDD and launching is with 223 as suggested with your USB loader?
