Where do I go from here then? I went up to step C in the guide. Should I just forget that I even started the guide and work on installing priiloader?
If you want to have a fully softmodded and up-to-date Wii, use mauifrog's Softmod ANY Wii guide, then use my Update All Your IOS's guide. Links to both are in my signature.

Don't skip any steps, even if you already have something installed.

So I should re-softmod my Wii even though I did not remove the Homebrew Channel?

Yeah, that's what I suggest. There is a lot more to softmods than the HBC, and that guide adds just about everything. Anything you already have will be overwritten/updated.

I strongly suggest you avoid DarkCorp. It is a lot more trouble than it is worth.

You can skip the first part where you install HBC since you already have it. Follow everything else though, unless it says optional.

You need to follow the first part. It is a necessary part of the guide. There are specific instructions for people who already have the HBC installed.

That section is for updating your existing softmod. From the sounds of it, this user never finished the original mod. Already has hbc but needs to do everything else in the guide.

IOS58 and 61 are part of the install. It will take almost no extra time to follow the guide correctly anyway.

Thanks! I will do this as soon as I can!

One more thing though. The game that needs updating is Call of Duty: Black Ops. Right now, I can bypass a Wii system update with GeckOS, but it wants to update the game before going on online mode. Would it be safe to do that specific update? It seems like it only wants to download a patch or something. Also, after installing priiloader, what happens if it still prompts for the update?

If you have used the Shopping Channel at least once before, then it is safe to download the patches. If not, you will have to update the Shopping Channel. It is included in the UpdatePack.zip in Softmod ANY Wii.
