    Question about NAND

I followed the 4.3 softmod guide here on this site, and I've searched for this topic but I was unable to find it. I was wondering if the need to restore your Wii's NAND would occur how would you go about doing it, and also how far back will that restore your Wii. To the point where it would need to be hacked for homebrew again via brawl or what have you?

Do you have bootmii as an IOS or boot2? If IOS, you cannot restore the nand if its a full brick. You can use a programmer like the infectus to restore your nand so its not total fail for IOS users. When restoring the nand, you have everything that was installed when you created the nand.

NAND = static picture of your Wii at time of backup. So long as you have the NAND backup, there are folks who can offer their services for a fee for a restore. This isn't for a failed softmod, but rather a full-on brick.

I've got it as an IOS I believe because I have a newer Wii but not the most recent I want to say I've had it since 08. I'm assuming that the backup will also fix any messed up WAD installations as well? That is what i want to do it for because I fear I may have messed up a WAD installation.

    EDIT:
Just saw your post nightstah, so what should I do for incorrectly installing WADs?

Yes, I remember doing the Priiloader stuff taking the anti-brick measures and such, but what exactly do I have to do in Priiloader or is it self explanatory once its up?

You can fix a bannerbrick(bad .wad) with priiloader.
