My Wii wants a system update, what should I do?
A couple of weeks ago my Wii told me I had to update my system to be able to play the disc that I had inserted. Without thinking I accepted that, updated the system and played the game.
Needless to say, this messed up my softmod and I was unable to run USB Loader anymore.
I've reinstalled the Trucha Bug etc. and at the same time took the opportunity to install BootMii and take a NAND backup, (just to make sure I didn't f**k the system up completely). USB Loader now works perfectly again.
However, now I have the original message of requiring a system update again if I insert a disc game to play.
I understand there is a way to update your system without downloading it direct from Nintendo, is that correct?
I've searched the forum for answers but there are so many threads I don't know where to start looking.
I don't doubt that this problem has been encountered before and a cure found, so if anybody could point me in the right direction to the appropriate thread that would be great.
i just play the games threw usb loader or neogamma and it never bothers me to update, the only game that did was black ops and i updated my wii to 4.3 and reinstalled usb loader gx and neogamma.. id try to play the game threw one of those and it shouldnt make you update... hope that helps

This is prevented By Installing Priiloader.

The Tutorial you used Would have Priiloader Installation in it(If you did it from Here WiiHacks.com)
Please People Do Not Ignore this part of the Hack. (It's Very Important, Specially if you don't have Boot2)
