    "drive not found" emulators only

    Hey everyone,

First things first, I have made my way through many threads and could not find the exact same problem I have been having and I felt a new thread was in order.

I have successfully did a soft-mod to two different Wii's.
My problem occurred with my second Wii and not with my first.
My problem had also occurred, all of the sudden.

My Verbatim 500gb external hard drive is not being recognized by either snes, nes, or vgba emulators anymore. They did only hours before.

I have tried running the emulators through the homebrew channel, but still no success.
Usb loader gx still picks up the drive, and my computers at home pick up the hard drive flawlessly.

This problem just occurred all of the sudden, and I can see no reasons for it.

I have found on other threads with problems similar to mine that my drive may be in sleep mode. This problem has never occured in the past as it was used on both wii's until all of the sudden, "drive not found".

Loading roms off a sd card works fine.

Any help would be much appreciated,
if any information is needed, just ask.
I am never sure what information would be required for someone to help me.

Are your paths all properly configured to your USB?

I'm not by my Wii currently to test but that doesn't seem right. It should have / instead of \ and I don't believe you need a drive letter. I'm sure about the slashes but I'll look when I get home on the drive letter. Couldn't help with the media player because I don't use any of them.

The Emulators(nes, snes, vgba)are able to explore for roms regardless their path name.

The Emulators just won't be able to run them if their path don't match the path on the SD card.

For example, the roms on my SD card are found SD:\vbagx\roms for vbagx Emulator. That works fine but I want to be able to use my fat32 partition on my hard drive.

My problem lays with my HD not being recognized by these Emulators or this media player, as if the fat32 was not even there.

Path name, regardless, HD fat32 is not being detected by the wii. It worked hours before and still does not work now.

Works on the first Wii that I had done, but not on the second???
I have a strange problem to troubleshoot.

My WFBS partition is detected by uUSB loader gx.
My fat32 partition is not being detected anymore by emulators, ect.
