    BootMii backup

Hi everyone, I have a 4.2u soft modded.

I have home brew channel installed.

When I try to launch bootmii from my homebrew, the screen goes black, and the Wii blue light around the ROM drive flashes on and off.

If I restart the wii, and try to go in from the menu there, it says cannot load bootmii/armboot.bin

Can anyone point me in the right direction to get this working so I can make a backup?

thank you in advance for your help!

Do you have the bootmii folder on the root of your card?

Run the hackmii installer go to install bootmii and select prepare sd card. this will give you the files you need. Launch bootmii and make the backup

Install it and make a nand backup!!! This is not an option. It just may save your Wii one of these days.

If you can't install as BootMii/boot2, yes install it as BootMii/IOS. And yes, as Krafter says make a NAND backup --- this can save your Wii someday if you brick it!
