    Ignoring updates.

I've got a softmodded 4.3U wii and everything is set up just perfectly, homebrew, backing up games, the whole lot.

The only thing I'm lacking is disabling and/or ignoring the update partitions on new games. I hear this is possible with two different options, load the game with Gecko OS or install priiloader.

I'm not sure how to accomplish this with Gecko OS, is that even a valid option?

As for priiloader, there seems to be some conflicting information as to which version, 0.4 or 0.5 (which seems to be removed now from google code) I should install. Is 4.3 even compatible with 0.4?

Could anyone point me to the easiest and most non-invasive method to accomplish skipping these retail updates?

    Introduce Yourself

start there. priiloader is what you need, I don't think the bugs have been worked out of v5 yet. There is a guide on this site for priiloader. There will probably be a link to it in the welcome post you receive after you introduce yourself.
