Japanese games no longer work after softmodding and changing region to USA.

I just followed the guide to softmod 4.3 and it worked (as far as I can tell). I had a 4.3J system I bought over here in Japan. I followed the optional region change to the American version (since I can't read Japanese). I am now able to play the two games I bought in America but all of my Japanese games no longer play.

Is there just an easy setting I'm missing somewhere.

If the setting I missed was in ARCmod06_Offline, do I need to reinstall the priiloader (not uninstall it)?

    Rob is correct!!!

The 4.3 System Menu Blocks out of region play for DISCS!!!

You can USB load the games and you will not have a problem forcing other settings!!
Or you can downgrade to 4.1 and you will be ok!!!! (its in the 4.3 guide on how to do this)

I'm sorry, I wasn't completely clear. I followed the 4.3 guide all the way through including the optional part about changing the region to the USA region. The last part to changing the region was downgrading to 4.1. So the Softmod was successful since I can now play American games but I can no longer play my Japanese games. I would like to do this from the discs if possible since I have them and currently I don't have a USB hard drive or even a flash drive, doh. If that is my only answer, I can go get one if needed though. Thank you so much for helping me.

The issue was me not loading it through the neogamma channel at all. Once I was able to find the channel, it loaded right up. I didn't even need to force the NTSC setting. Thank you so much for your help. I knew this would be an answer I would be kicking myself for, lol. I guess my next project is going to have to be dop-mii so I can get rid of all those worthless channels. Should I load my US games through neogamma also and not use the disc channel at all or can you just point me to a good basic guide to what I can do with my Wii now.

You can load your games through neogamma as it will skip the updates if there is any from the disc.... But if you have priiloader installed then enable the hacks for "block disc and online updates"

If you dont have priiloader then look at the guide here that you used to softmod and it will be in there....

Ok good, I had already installed the priiloader. Will that block a game update if it's loaded through the disc channel also?

Awesome, the last thing I want to do is brick my Wii because my girlfriend can't read much English. That would suck, lol
