    Question Problems with core dump

I have been running my wii hacked for some time now but when i play new super mario bros i get an error message that i have to remove the disc and reset but im running from USB-drive.

And today when i just tested to run the syscheck in the DOP-Mii i got core dump.

Any ides what could cause this? And can i check my system and post a log or something here so someone can say what i have done wrong?

    thanks in advance!

There is a guide for the new super mario bros wii. About the core dump: I have no idea. Could be many things. Probably nothing to worry about. If you want to be certain, try making a syscheck with another program and see what happens.

I found a thread in this forum regarding the game but the information there did not give me something useful to test, i have been using the same ISO on another Wii and it works great. But not on this one.. Same settings btw..

I got the same problem with USB Loader GX. When I went to download box art, it errored on Donkey Kong Country Returns. Now I cannot hover over the game without my wii crashing. Same as when I went to get disc images, but with Punch Out. I don't know if maybe thats what caused it to you?

I've been to busy playing the wii to fix my problems. But I'm considering just re extracting and renaming both games. I'm not sure how disc covers are saved though. I already tried reformatting my hard drive and putting all the games back on to no avail.

If that fails my second choice is to just re download different copies of each game.

You could try both of those, if those don't work, I really do not know.

it is not the covers, I know what you are talking about and i got that error to with Epic Mickey and it turned out to be a corrupt jpeg i just removed it from the covers dir and it worked again.

anyway, i allso tested with another USB drive that i know works that has the same games on it and so on, and i still get the eject disc problem.
So im thinking about reflashing the wii all over again. Dosnt seem to be another way around.

I have heard hat friends had the same problem to with other games..

    "An error has occurred.
Press the eject button, remove the disc
and turn off the power to the console.
Please refer to the wii operatoin manual for details"

Maybe you could try another loader? Or maybe updating it?
