    Unhappy Wii Mote Trouble

ok..i know im new and stuff.. and i been messing with all the homebrew stuff and i think i got some it goin and actually working but now this has got me bugged... my family and i were playing wii sports for about an hour then decided to play my back up of Mario Kart.. it loaded and was about to play.. when i chose to create a new driver then it gave me a screen saying my copy of mario kart is unplayable or something of that nature and froze... so i reset and powered off... ejected disc and cleaned it.. and tried again... this time.. it booted up then all of a sudden the wii motes stopped responding... i thought the batteries were weak so i called it night for the kiddos and put them to charge.. 25min later i try to power up the wii so i can see if i can get MK going and the wii motes still dont respond...tried removing the battery packs.. checked the sensor bar... unplugged ac adapter.. nothing.. tried pressing sync.. i tried all the troubleshooting i could do... does anyone know if i did something with the homebrew stuff that would cause this or a way to reset the wii.. please help.. thanks again.. Admiral.. where are thou..

    :edit:
