    Ca Kirby problems

    Hello all,
I'm a newbie and I can't seem to get Kirby's epic yarn to work. i'm on 4.2u, using usb loader gx... i just followed the 4.2 softmod guide and it still brings me to a black screen with stack dump and codes when i click on the game. Any help will be greatly appreciated, such as which IOS i should be using...
    thanks in advance

Stack dumps usually point to corrupted data issues on the sd card or the nand of the wii. Have you cleaned the contents of the sd card since doing the mod?
Did you download any cover images in your loader since installing this game?

Stack dumps? Isn't that normal operation for USB Loader GX?

I suppose that depends on whether the individual is using a stable version or those... 3rd party "we took it over, and then they took it back" ones, lol.

But Stomp does bring up a good point. Have you thought about trying a couple of other loaders out?
It's the cios chosen to run the game when softmod loading, so ios shouldn't be the cause of playback through usb. Just a loader usb device combination that work better for ya.

Im on cios38 rev 17, and i tried configurable usb loader, same thing...
as far as my sd card goes, i've kept everything on it. Other games work fine, and i downloaded the game from demonoid because i cant install my game directly from wii because the dvd drive is dieing and can't read discs anymore.
i tried running it with 222 and 249, makes no difference
