    HBC Channel Doesn't do Anything

I just installed the HBC channel on firmware 4.3 using the Super Smash exploit, but now when I run the HBC it starts, but after the wifi light stops blinking it sits there with bubbles floating up the screen doing nothing. What is the problem? :O

Maybe no apps in your app folder?

it takes more than using a youtube video to get hbc on your wii to have it softmodded and run backup games.
follow the softmod any wii guide, linked below for example (you need a cIOS too and some apps to run).
further qeuestions go in the guides thread. (also say hello in the introduction section, would be kind)
    good luck

If you want anything to appear. The homebrew channel is only used for launching homebrew stuff like emulators, media players, and system tools like WAD Manager. So if they are not present in your app folder nothing is going to appear.

Oh, that makes sense. Do I put the files on my root directory of the flash device?

hey have a look here maybe
How to post a syscheck: Instructions here
one of the simplest apps you can run.
all apps go into your apps folder and has a structure like this (on sd card or usb thumbdrive)
    sd:\apps\programm1\boot.dol
    sd:\apps\programm2\boot.dol

but as mentioned above, your are NOT done when you want to play game backups from your usb harddrive for example (that applies if you didn't follow a wiihacks guide as it sounds...)
you need a cIOS for that and some proper game loading apps (all in the softmod guide)

but see foryourself, if you only installed the hbc, your IOS like 249 etc will be a stub/useless for backup loading (the syscheck will tell you that)
good luck in your next steps of wiimodding

In a folder called apps at your root.
