Major issue of Wii and creating thread titles

Ok, my wii is now on 4.3 again cuz of my stupid friend, who also deleted some important ios stubs and now I can't access any channel, it just restarts the wii. The worst part is that the disk reader is broken

Okay, "important IOS stubs" is pretty much an oxymoron. Stubs are useless placeholders that are for replacing mothballed or patched IOS's. What exactly did your friend do?

Stubs are useless, they don't serve any purpose. They are just there to take a certain IOS slot to prevent other IOS' from being installed there, although this measure proved not to be very effective.

Your channels don't work however, so something is wrong. Probably, your friend didn't just deleted stubbed IOS', but some others as well. To see what is wrong with your wii, we will need a system check (see my signature on how to make one).

One last thing: don't panic and remain calm and don't try all sorts of stuff on your own. We will help you get things working again, so don't worry If you just start doing random stuff on your own hoping to fix it, you might actually make things worse.
Awesome sig picture does not work

I looked at the system check thread, and there was one problem, I can't even go on my homebrew channel.

Unless you have bootmii as boot2 or Priiloader, I don't know what to do.
You could always go beat some money out of your "friend" and buy another Wii (j/k, don't).

When you said your disc reader is broken, what did you mean? Is it physically broken, or are you just unable to use the disc channel?
