Wad manager not working, turns off remote. Tried a bunch of things.

So I loaded up my wii and I noticed homebrew was deleted. I tried to use Wad manager and when I select 249 to load some wad channels it turns off my remote and I have to restart my wii.

So I figured maybe someone updated my wii :|.
I figured I need to reintroduce the trocha bug.

I read up about it and I downloaded wii power, I tried TBR vs 1.1 1.3 and MOD. I tried DopISOMOD. Every time I go to downgrade to iso 15 it fails and I have to restart.

    I have a wii 4.2

Anyone know what I should be doing, I'm just trying to get wad manager to stop freezing.

Missing cIOS. Double check your system menu and make sure its not 4.3. If it is, then follow the 4.3 guide. If it is still 4.2 then either follow the 4.2 guide or reinstall your cIOS using IOS36.
    Damn I suck!!!!

Thanks for the fast response. Could you recommend one for me, I have tried a bunch of them and I can't really tell where to start because my wii is already soft modded.

I tried using IOS236 installer and it didn't seem to do anything.

I am following a bunch of guides everytime I actually go to downgrade the ISO to 15 it says something like

Can not set revision to 0
    Downgrade failed.

Then it exits the program. Can anyone help me, I have been working on this for a while and can't seem to get it to work. Should I downgrade my firmware to 3.1?

use the softmod any wii guide linked below.
use bannerbombv2 to run the hackmii installer and then MMM to install a bunch of IOS, no need to downgrade stuff or something on your own.
    good luck

    <--suggestions helped? press Thanks

Use Dop-Mii to install a patched IOS36, and use that to install other cIOS's. It will do the whole thing in one step. It sounds like you are using a bad IOS15 wad, so let Dop-Mii download it for you.

Edit: It's probably better to follow vinatec's instructions above.
