Sonic The Hedgehog 4 (PAL) Error

    Hey everyone,

I just installed a Sonic The Hedgehog 4 wad but when I click 'Start' from the Wii Menu to load the game it just takes me back to the black 'Warning - Health and Safety' screen that appears when you turn the Wii on.

I've read elsewhere about installing a CIOS to run the game, but that was for the NTSC version and I don't know if this applies to my problem. Can anyone help? I may need help with installing anything, as it's been a while since I hacked my Wii and I'm not exactly a pro.

    Thanks a lot!

If it is an original disc, it's probably a missing IOS. You can use this guide to determine which IOS you need to install: Which IOS Games Use To Run.

Thanks but it's actually a WiiWare game, hence why I installed the wad of it.

You do know that if you was to download this game through the Shop Channel you wouldn't have any issues. My spidy senses are telling me that you did not obtain this wad legally and there for I must close this thread as we do not support piracy.
