(Help!) [4.3 Non-V] Installing cIOS / Running USB Storage Device

Long time lurker, first time poster, so yeah :P

    Anyway,

The SD cards sold anywhere nearby and don't cost an arm 'n' a leg to ship over here, which are compatible with HBC and over 2GB, are just too small for what I want to do.

I looked at many guides on several forums on how to get USB support for the wii, which is assumed by getting a cIOS installed, but they are all for <4.2 wiis, and not 4.3.

I did find one which was stickied in the tutorial sections, but I "WILL NOT" downgrade my wii. Don't want to take the risk of a full-brick on my awesome wii :3

If someone can help me get me to using a USB drive for my games (All backed up N64, PSX and Wii) games, that'd be shu-wheet!

Also, I tried using the Trucha Bug Restorer, and then use Wanin-thingy's ios installer, but that failed miserably. Something about IOS 249 being stubbed, and various un-stubbing HBC apps also, failed miserably.

    Thanks in advance!

We have a softmod guide here for 4.3 wii's, which also handle USB Loading. Try this guide: Guide: Softmod ANY wii. Good thing though that you are carefull about bricking, but the guides here will not brick you if you just follow them. BTW, step 2 of this guide (downgrading) is optional.
