Wii stopped reading from USB drive

So I followed Lifehacker's guide to play games from my USB Hard drive and everything was working wonderfully. I didn't play for two or three days and I turned on my system only to find that USB loader GX refused to read any hard drives that I supplied it with anymore.

I've been reading nonstop here for a while trying several different cIOSs to include Waninkoko and Hermes. Is there any particular reason my setup would simply stop working? The only thing I haven't tried is loading a game from a FAT32 setup.

First off, we don't recommend following guide's from other sites. As a matter of fact, we have had others who used the LifeHackers guide and came here because things stopped working.
Anyway, to diagnose your problem, we are going to need a syscheck.
