From Mandotek to Me and hopefully to you

"Perfect! I installed the rev20b on IOS249, then selected IOS57-IOS57-64-V5918, downloaded the WAD (completed successfully), exit to Wii Menu and did a hard power down. Booted up, went to USBLoader GX, changed the default IOS to 249 for RapStar only(instead of 222) and loaded the game. Went to calibrate and MIC found (Logitech connect through Rock Band wireless modules). I hope that helps.

Thanks to Metal for the find!"

google ciosx rev20b download it and install the installer folder to your apps folder in your SD card, run homebrew, run rev20b program, select ios 249 ios57 v5918 ios 249 again then itll install. once complete do a full reboot and select usb loader gx (i have the game on a dvd) then on the top right theres a disc icon click it and itll load the disc, select disc settings and change to ios 249 then load and enjoy!

You are welcome, just hope you have plenty of tylenol on hand.
Sent from my van, down by the river.

I installed hermes cIOS v4 and v5 ios 202, 222, 223, and 224 and i still get no usb mic detected. i have an EA singstar mic for Wii, and a Konami American Idol xbox 360 mic, neither work. i have USB Loader GX rev874c, and i tried running the game under ios 249 250 222 and 223. am i supposed to set usb loader itself to load from those ios? or just the game? my wii uses cios249 rev17... i installed cios249 rev20 about 7 weeks ago, and it was giving me issues with watching replays on SSBB, and also loading my usb loader would sometimes freeze. so i went back to rev17 and im now fine, so im weary of installing rev20.

edit : i know 1 has nothing to do with the other, but i loaded beatles rock band and the mic worked just fine.

Still no luck for me here, the microphone I have works with the likes of wii sing but not with this.

I have installed everything that has been mentioned here and even out of desperation followed this you tube video. Youtube link removed

The only thing I can think of doing now is updating my actual wii because at the moment I am still on 3.2 or something and it is either that or the Microphone just not being compatible as far as I can see.

    What do you guys think?
