    Hello all.

I just ugraded to uLoader 5.1. I have downloaded IOS224 v5.1 [57 Base] via Wad Manager. However, I am still getting the "Microphone Not Detected" message when I try to play a song.

Am I missing anything? All my other games work on either cIOS 222 or 223 (except Black Ops, which also won't work on 224). I have tried 222, 223, and 224.

Krank's guide here mentions that cIOS, but also an alternative one to try. Be aware, it can also be a mic compatibility issue in certain cases. You're using a single mic, right? As otherwise you need a powered USB quality hub.

Thanks for the quick response. I went back to the Guide and installed cIOS249/250 (cIOSx Rev 20) via MMM. (The instrucitons say to extract directly to my SD card, however that would have overwritten and thereby deleted my apps and wad folders). So I downloaded the contents into my apps and wad folders.

I installed 249 and 250 via MMM. Both said that they installed successfully. When I go into uLoader and configure the cIOS/BIOS for Rap Star, I only see cIOS 222, 223, and 224.

I do not see 249 or 250. Is this because I did not directly extract cIOSx Rev 20 onto my SD card? Do I need to overwrite/delete all my previous apps and wad folders? I would prefer not to as most of my other games are set up on either 222 or 223. Sorry for all the trouble but I have been trying for weeks now to get this game (and Black Ops) to work.

    Appreciate any feedback.

I just made mine work this way:

    I just made mine work:

After reading all over, this are my steps:
    (Credit: http://www.wiihacks.com/general-home...etected-2.html)

    You will need
    rev20b installer and wads
    http://www.wiihacks.com/attachments/...osx-rev20b.rar

    -Unzip
Place all the wad files on the ROOT of your SD (SD:\)
Add the folder to your apps folder on your SD card (SD:\apps\cIOSX rev20 installer)
Insert the SD card on your Wii.
Open Up Your Homebrew Channel On System Menu
    Run/Load the Installer
Once you have started the installer.
    select IOS249, the default setting.
    Select Your IOS version.
    Select IOS57
    Select WAD Installation.
    Select Wii SD Slot.
Install should complete within 30 seconds

I'm using a XBOX 360 RB2 mic under a softmodded wii via the Smash hack.

WeSing Mics Work on Softmod Wii

Got WeSing mics working by loading the same way as Black ops, i.e., with cIOS250[57]-v19.wad. Loaded Rapstar straight after adding to USB HDD, worked first time no problems. Also works with U-sing 2. I'm using cfg usb loader v57 - I know it's old but everything works for me except Grease.
