NTSC with softmod 4.2u and drivekey playing retail attack of the movies 3D

I successfully use both my drivekey and softmod 4.2u. We got a present: a retail copy of 'Attack of the Movies 3D' and once inserted it started an update service. I immediately power off the system to halt the process. Now what is the best way to overcome this update? Should I upgrade to 4.3U (if so what tutorial to use, I am quite confused)?

    Many Thanks
