How to downgrade 3.3U Wii with D2Pro9 Modchip

Hello, I just recently purchased a Wii about a day ago that came with 3.3U already installed, my Wii is a DC2v2. I know this because I installed the D2Pro9 modchip sucessfully and I'm able to play backups and such. I have seen various ways to downgrade and have tried them to no avail. Most need the Homebrew Channel or .dol/.wad loader to run those programs. Well I'm able to run .dol files using my Wii Key, but that is only on gamecube mode with my Datel Media Launcher Disc. I tried running the Homebrew Channel Beta 9.dol in Gamecube mode and the Wii stays at a blank screen, nothing happens. guessing this .dol only runs in Wii mode? I would really love it if someone could point me in the right direction on how to downgrade to 3.2U. I don't have any custom IOS installed or anything. My Wii is basically cherry except for the mod chip. I have a friend that can lend me his copy of Zelda Twilight Princess, but I read that the save hack dosen't work on 3.3U? Please help.

you do need an ios installed to allow the exploit of downgrading your wii. there is a guide on how to do this here

i highly recommend 3.2 for your wiibrew and backup needs

So, I have to get the Homebrew Channel Beta 9 somehow installed on my Wii first to make any of this work then?

This is from the post you gave me:

the first part of thread mentions that you need the following

    "Things you need:

    1x Wii
    1x SD card
Wifi or Internet Connection on the Wii
IOS37-64-v2070.wad (dont ask where to get it)
    Homebrew Channel
Custom IOS 37 rev 03 or higher
    Custom IOS Downgrader v1.0"

well since there have been updates, so use this instead:

    Things you need:

    1x Wii
    1x SD card
Wifi or Internet Connection on the Wii
IOS36-64-v1042.wad (can be extracted from SSBB using the WUFE app)
    Homebrew Channel
    Custom IOS36 rev 04 (from File Details-Custom-IOS36-rev-04-Wii-Homebrew -)
Custom IOS Downgrader v1.2 (from File Details-Custom-IOS-Downgrader-v1.2-Wii-Homebrew -)

I have everything on the list but the Homebrew Channel, remember that my Wii has not been soft modded in any way as I bought the Wii from Toys R Us with 3.3U installed. I did install the D2Pro9 ModChip and it loads backups and such fine. From what I read on WhiteGuy's tut he states you have to have a Custom IOS installed, then run the Homebrew Channel to run the Custom IOS Downgrader. So my new question is, how do I run the Custom IOS Downgrader without needing the Homebrew Channel or by having a custom IOS installed?

he is wrong about the first part. "Custom IOS installed, then run the Homebrew Channel
to run the Custom IOS Downgrader"

you cant install custom anything without first using the twilight princess exploit

    guide for that is here

    http://www.wiihacks.com/homebrew/457...ers-guide.html

in that guide, where it says copy over boot.elf, just switch the homebrew channel one with Waninkoko's firmware downgrader and it should run that for you.

have fun and if that thread does not cover downgrading firmware, come back to this one and check my other link. hope all goes well and please share your results of how it worked out, or even questions of how to work it out
