Nope same error. Sorry for no actual screenshot.

    This installer can NOT continue!

There is no known vulnerable IOS installed on this Wii.

Please NOTE we will not use fakesigned IOS due to Security reasons.

If it is already the latest version... well suck it.

Install an un-patched IOS34 and the installer will work. Remember to only install DVDx and not HBC again.
    Damn I suck!!!!

What? I said nothing about downgrading. Installing IOS34 will allow you to run the hackmii installer 0.6 and instal DVDx, thus fixing your issue.

Nothing dangerous about it and it is not downgrading anything.

If you need a guide go here and look at the bottom for this section.

Older post, out dated, read if you like, for hackmii install 0.6 and less

Me = Bad. I assumed. My mistake. So what is this actually doing? I assumed it was downgrading Wii firmware.

It is installing an IOS for the hackmii installer to use. Yours is patched probably and it shouldn't be. Has nothing to do with the firmware or downgrading.

Did the patch? You mean you installed IOS34? You really should give more info about your situation if you need help. Are you using the hackmii installer v 0.6?

    EDIT:

Boy oh boy I am on fricken stupid pills. That solution worked perfectly thank you. Instructions just weren't quite clear. I assumes that the file I was using was unpatched but during install process it asks you if you want to install patches. Re-Did it without patches and its working like a charm.

Thank you very much for all your help, time and patience.

Would there be any point in re-installing a newer version?

(Thanked on Original help to the post for installing IOS)

DVDX V2 not found error message

Sorry to attempt to revive a 4 month old thread! I'm having some problems with the N64 emulator. The version is Wii 64 Beta 1.1 'Honey'. I've got the latest version of the homebrew channel up and running (1.0.8) so everything should be fine. When I first installed Wii 64, I burnt a load of games to a DVD-R and the emulator was loading from the disc just fine. However, when I come to run it now and try to load the roms from the DVD, I'm getting an error message saying "DVDX V2 not found". Can anyone help with this? I've tried following some of the previous steps but have had no luck. When I try to run the homebrew installer again, I'm not getting any option to install DVDX. Sorry if I sound like an idiot, I'm a bit new to this stuff! Thanks
