How can you get color video from PAL games?

I have an NTSC Wii want to play a backup of a PAL game. The backup works fine but the video is in black and white. My TV sucks, apparently, so I can't change the TV to 50hZ, which would have been the easiest way around this problem.

My Wi is not modded. I'm using backup launcher .3g and I've tried both "Force NTSC" and "PAL60" but there is no color either way.
Was I supposed to do something before I burned the ISO?

You tv needs to be able to support dual standard playback most NTSC tvs dont support PAL whereas almost all PAL tvs do. I am sure the newer NTSC tvs would now do it you need to check.

I wasn't complaining about the lack of color. I played it for 3 hours and pretty much didn't notice it was black and white.

You should be able to get a converter box. I used to use a NTSC to PAL converter to play import (I'm in the UK) games on my old PSX. It worked on the scart lead, or video out.

I dont know if they have them for the Wii but I know you can get professional standard changers, but they will probably be more expensive than getting a TV.

Just a quick search on google - http://www.world-import.com/samar.htm

Thanks. I'll probably end up getting a new TV anyway. I think my TV's dying. Sometimes every once in a while the top half of the screen will go black, leaving picture on the bottom half only. Turning it off and then on usually fixes it... But I doubt it will work much longer.
