    Hacking 4.3 without a disc/downgrading it

So, my disc reader on my Wii broke. I'm way out of warranty, and the repair will cost $80, so I decided it would just be better to hack it and use a USB loader to play a game. Apparently there's no way at this point to install a homebrew channel without a disc hack, so I was wondering if there was any way to downgrade the Wii back to 4.2 - At this point, I don't really care about whether it's risky, the damn thing is worthless anyway.

No there isn't. You need the game disc unless your wii was previously modded.
    Damn I suck!!!!

Welp, I'm pretty much screwed then. Immediatly after I waste $50 on Metroid Prime Trilogy, too. Thanks anyway.

Sorry about your Wii man. MPT is a nightmare to run on a USB loader, but if you plan on buying a new Wii, or have a friend with a Wii, I suggest you play it at least once. It is really fun, and well worth the $50 in my opinion.
