Help with Wiigator's cIOS installer v7

Whenever I try to install the cIOS, by pressing A, my Wii freezes, without any error message or anything. If I press B or any other button besides A, it just reboots, as normal. I did a lot of research, but I don't think anyone else is having a problem like me. What do I do?

Try installing this wad with the WAD manager:
cIOS249-IOS36-rev07.wad ... at uploaded.to - Free File Hosting, Free Image Hosting, Free Music Hosting, Free Video Hosting, ...

Hey, I'm having the same issue as the O.P. and upon installation, I get the following error message: (ret = -1)

I'm running firmware 3.2u and IOS 36. I'm installing using WAD Manager 1.3

I'm pretty new to this, so if any additional information is required, just ask and I'll dig it up...

The .dol installer gives me the error message upon "Reading WAD file". The WAD installer on the other hand, gets to "Installing content #5" before I get the error message.

Okay, I found the solution to this problem. Remove the gamecube memory card. -_-;;

Ok, so I have 3.4U and I don't know how to find out which IOS. My questino is when I go to install the cIOS, the very last part fails. all 15/15 patches install, but some last piece doesn't work.

Any Ideas?

Get off of 3.4 downgrade to 3.2.

I started out with my Wii on 3.4 and everything I did for downgrading it, installing the Homebrew Channel, and the wad manager, working fine except for this one. I messed around for a couple hours reading everything I could find and doing it over trying to figure out what stupid little thing I had messed up . . . . when I saw this post, and realized that my kids had left their GC memory cards stuck in the console.
