The new update was IOS, shopping channel and korean IOS. It only disabled TBR. The 4.3 guide still works as far as I know. Regardless, you have priiloader and you aren't EVER going to accept an update so you are fine right?

What does your drive light have to do with any of this?
    Damn I suck!!!!

the drive light is why I was so concerned. See, apparently when your Wii is off and Nintendo wants to distribute patches, they'll semi-turn on your wii and upload the patch, and that is when the drive light comes on.

it scares me and angers me to think N is subversively and forcibly uploading things to my Wii at night when I'm sleeping.

if you do in fact have to *agree* to install every patch they upload, then that makes me feel better.

I have heard this rumor before and I just tried to confirm or disprove it and failed. In my opinion though, it is just a rumor. I base this on all of the threads I have read where an update was involved it was a mater of the OP excepting the update. If there was any truth to this rumor then I think there would have been a lot more 4.3 updates out there when it was release because there are way to many people the chose not to install Prilloader to prevent updates. As far as I know is Nintendo can only send you a message via Wiiconnect24 to let you know that there was an update available.
