Huge problem after homebrew channel update

So i start up the homebrew channel and i was about to play neogamma. My wii was working fine. Then all of the sudden the hombrew channel starts updating automatically but it was chill for me. After i was done, Neogamma isnt starting anymore neither are all the other hombrew channels like gamecube backup launcher, any title deleter stuff like that. The only homebrew reworking is wii64. I downgraded the hombrew channel back to 1.0.6 but nothing works (Restoring the trucha bug again). My wii menu is 4.2u and my hombrew channel version is 1.0.8. Can someone please help me out?? If you need anymore info, just tell me and i'll put it up asap

    Thanks

from what i know your not supposed to update the wii after that, it showed up because you didnt have the SD card in which stores all the downloaded data so try putting the SD card back in and see if it works, if not that update screwed it, but you can send it to nintendo asking to de-upgrade it back to your 4.o/4.3u

Are you sure it was a Homebrew update and not a Nintendo update. Sure sounds like you updated to 4.3.

it still shows that its 4.2u. Do you think i should update to 4.3 and re-mod it again. Its already bricked so im using bootmii to start it up if that helps out

No don't do that. Did you try backing out of the Homebrew Channel and reloading it? Version 1.0.8 is known to have a refresh problem.

Edit: Nevermind that just read that you downgraded it back to 1.0.6

NO DO NOT UPDATE!!!!!! Look here and do a Syscheck. Open the syscheck.csv file that is created with Wordpad NOT Notepad and paste the results here.

I think your problem has more to do with your brick. Give us some more info on the brick so we can help you.

Also, a system check report as Krafter requested would be nice.

OK I have to go but you're in good hands. Since your system menu isn't working and you obviously have bootmii as boot2 try this and see where it gets you. This should restore your ability to access your system menu again but not necessarily fix your homebrew problems.

    Try downloading Dop-Mii_v12_CB2_BB2
Extract to freshly formated SD card and insert into your wii. Boot wii and Dop-Mii will start.
    Choose to load IOS36
    Choose IOS/MIOS/BC
Install IOS60 v6174 apply all patches
Install IOS70 v6174 apply all patches
    Install system menu 4.1

    Install 4.1 not 4.2!!!

    This should do it.
You will have to reinstall Priiloader after.

Krafter or Dave if you can stick around, check his system check report for him if he gets it posted.
