    Serious problems!

Okay, so, here's my predicament. I currently have a softmodded 4.2U Nintendo Wii. I have HBC, USBLoader GX, and NeoGamma installed in my Wii. I have been playing ISOs off my USB stick for a while now, but it was only 8GB so I figured I'd buy Metroid Other M instead.

First problem: Dual-Layer disc issue I guess, it isn't reading the game. Dirty Lens or whatnot. I ordered a cleaning kit which should be here in 2 days. If it works I'd be fine, but...

Second Problem: Metroid Other M has a 4.3u update in it. What happens if the lens is clean and it forces me to update? I could have a bricked Wii on my hands. I would install Priiloader, which I have on my SD card, but, you guessed it...

Third Problem: My SD slot just broke. As I'm getting ready to install Priiloader to prevent the updates from discs, the SD card jammed. Normally I push in and it pops out, like a camera, but this time is just stuck there. I used a pair of tweezers to get it out, and now it goes in but doesn't click like normal. So, no Priiloader for me.

My question is, what can I do about this now? I really want to play Metroid but I don't want to brick my Wii. I would use Priiloader but my SD slot is effectively ruined and I can't install it. I called Nintendo about the dual layer and they did set up a repair but I can't send in a softmodded Wii, can I? If I do, what happens? Do they just send it back, or can they fine me? I want to stay away from Nintendo's repair if I can, but even if I clean the lens myself, I can't update. What do I do! I'm in serious need here

tl;dr: Metroid wont load, can clean lens, even if i do, it needs to update. Can't use priiloader because my SD slot is busted and wont read SD cards. What do?

If you have DVDx installed you could do this to get files on your SD card.

Alright, I figured I've had enough, so I used this guide to (try) to get rid of everything. Everything I had is now gone except the Homebrew Channel which i cannot get rid of because I cant load off of SD. Now what can I do?

So... you virginized your Wii to avoid an update??? that doesn't make much since.

If you want to remove HBC then your either need to load any title deleter on a USB drive or transfer the hackmii installer to your SD card via the tutorial I linked you above.

No, im just done with this whole modding scene. I want to play legit games without having to worry about stuff like this. Now I can't get rid of HBC because my SD slot is gone.

Any way I can get rid of it with the USB?

Okay so I use anytitle deleter, delete homebrew channel, and that gets rid of bootmii and dvdx as well?

hmmm... not sure about bootmii and DVDx. It might be easier to just update to 4.3 and let it remove everything for you if you have HBC 1.0.6 or below. If you have bootmii installed as boot2 then there is no other way to remove it other than through the Hackmii installer and again, you can get the Hackmii installer onto your SD card by following my ftpii guide and remove everything manualy.
