    Wireless/Wii updating no longer works.

OK so i have a 4.2 softmodded wii with homebrew dvdx and whatnot and a while ago i wanted to see what would happen if i would try to update it.[4.3 was released then]
I got an error and thought ok i didnt want to update anyways. But now that Other M is out it requires 4.3 for some reason. So i try to update. same old 32004[not my wireless's fault.] error from a month ago. I think hey The update will probably work if i got rid of the softmod. That did not work out to well as far as removing the mods go [.elf vs .dol info did not help] At this moment update / shop channel do not work everything [except for i think bootmii] has been removed. I do have a nand backup with bootmii on my computer if that could help. Also When i edit my wireless info on my wii it can connect up to my WEP and WPA Wireless routers i have set up but refuse to download / apply the updates.
Could The bootmii i installed cause this problem? How the heck am i supposed to fix this?
    Thanks in advance.
[by the way i know that there is a blog release that talks about running other m on soft mod/ hard mod but I'd rather fix my wireless update and play the normal way.]

you probably have priiloader blocking online updates...

hold reset while powering on see if you boot into priloader

4.3 or any other specific version of a systemmenu is not needed at all to play any game. there are user on 3.2 and happy.
if you want to keep your mods and want to play your retail other m, keeping the setting to block disc updates would be an option.

if you want to update to 4.3 and remove stuff for whatever reason like mentioned above go to priiloader (power on+hold down reset). afterwards you can either online update or just flip in the dvd as it has the update on it
    good luck

    <--suggestions helped? press Thanks

IF you chose to update to 4.3 you ll have a hard time softmoding again.....It really isnt recommended to update from nintendo

you could of added block disc updates to priiloader hacks and you could of played other m with out problems.....(it wouldnt have asked you to update)

Games are not system menu depended

Do this to see if you removed your softmod http://www.wiihacks.com/wii-learning...ur-system.html
