trying to install homebrew channel. totally stuck.

ok so i copied the twilight save files to my sd card.
    then it says:
"Take your Zelda disc, flip it
over so that the data side is facing you, and look for
a small line of text next to the inner edge of the disc,
between the raised circle of plastic and the data area. If
the text reads "RVL-RZDE-0A-0", you have a v0 game and
you should select the TwilightHack0 savegame. If the text
reads "RVL-RZDE-0A-2", you have a v2 game and you should
    select the TwiilghtHack2 savegame"

but my disk is a backup... i know it's USA version but that's about it.
so.. do i need to get the original zelda twilight disk?
    plz help.

The backup disc of Zelda works. This is a great online guide i used. Just follow along step by step and it should work. As for the RVL-RZDE-0A-0 or RVL-RZDE-0A-2, just pick one and if it doesnt work use the other. Hope this helps you

If it's a backup, just use any. If the first one doesn't work, use the second one.

I have read that people with modchips have been able to use the "backup" version of zelda but they basically just had to guess which savegame to use. If you pick the wrong file, it just won't work....it won't brick or anything.

Just make sure you use the USA version of the savegame with the USA version of the game.
