Upgraded to cIOS-rev19, now can't install WADs

Hi, I was running cIOS38-rev14 and ran the cIOS-rev19 network installer today over the top, using the default options (249 Base, which should be correct, and 57). Backups still play fine through USB Loader GX r866, but I can no longer install WADs from WadManager v1.5

I think I get error -1029 when trying to install the wad.

Is it possible I need to reinstall rev19 using something other than 57? Or do I need to go back to my a rev14 or rev17 installer?

    thnx

I believe Wad Manager 1.7 works more fully with cIOS-X Rev 19, but we generally discourage users from using this cIOS as a rule. Pretty much for the reasons you have discovered, in fact...

Thanks everybody. I reinstalled rev19 with 249/38 and upgraded wad manager to v1.7 and now everything is in fine working order. I did notice two hard freezes on the Wii menu, but they seemed too disappear, is that another known issue with rev19?

    Re-read the cited, previous passage:

Uh-oh, this user more than qualifies for some disciplinary action if Stomp so chooses (I know I would).

I think my last post was discipline enough. The thing is, I or you offer some help, knoweldgeable help I might add, and nothing comes of it. Not to mention everytime nightstah sees a post like this, his answer is the same, in a million different posts for all to see, and it's posted in the guides too. This is the result of that user submitted MH3 thread, the one where cIOSx rev19 runs rampant.

I try to give the benifit of a doubt, if a user wants cIOSx rev19 then that's their business, but I offer a remedy for any Wii problems that may arise from installing that cIOS.

the op's question has been answered, in two threads.
