Hi there, this is my first post so go easy on me

I have been looking around for ages and can't work out why the WBFS partition on my HDD isn't being recognised by my wii. According to gbatemp's USB devices compatibility list, it is a working HDD for backup gaming. The HDD is formatted as so: a 200gb wbfs partition set to primary and active, a 32gb partiton formatted to FAT32 for home brew and a 700gb ntfs partition for general non-wii storage use. The WBFS partition was created with WBFS Manager 3.0 and the partition was in RAW format prior to partitioning.

My wii is a soft-modded 3.2E, with cIOS 249 rev17 (upgraded from 14 to see if it would make a difference, no change though) and Hermes 222/223 v4 (didn't help me either unfortunately)

I have tried using Configurable Usb Loader, which gives a ret= -6 error,
UsbLoaderGX r815 (when I was using cIOS 249 rev14) and r937 (with cIOS 249 rev 17), uLoader 4.1 and 5.1 as well as wiiFlow. With UsbLoaderGX r937 and CFG Usb Loader, Hermes and Waninkoko's cIOS' don't work

My question is simply this: Have I missed some extremely obvious cIOS install, should i try re-installing all the cIOS' listed above or is it just a bad HDD which oddly works for homebrew only? MPlayer CE streaming and Homebrew apps work through the FAT32 partition though so I still can't get my head around why the WBFS partition isnt being detected. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

P.S. Apologies for the long and winded info
