    WII not reading WD MyPassport 1TB HDD,,pls help

    hi everyone
    I'm new to WII world
    just bought US WII v4.1u ,with NewGamma r7
    I bought WD MyPassport 1TB with pre-installed games
    but when Running NewGamma and check USB ,It keeps looking for HDD 30 times with no success
    please help how i can read from HDD

    Did you place the USB cable in the correct (the one at the bottom) connection of the wii?

    Yes, that could very well be the problem. Try USB Loader GX, make sure you use the latest stable version.

    its possible the virtual cd needs to be disabled on the wd hd

    Have you verified that the drive contains a WBFS partition or are there simply a bunch of disc images on the drive?
    Download WBFS Manager (Link: wbfsmanager - Release: WBFS Manager 3.0), connect your drive to your PC and run the program. Hit the Refresh Drive button, then select your WBFS partition and hit the Load button, it should show you a list of games installed on that partition.

    You may want to review this tutorial on how to correctly create a WBFS partition to load your backups from, but only AFTER you've made a backup of all existing data on the drive: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...different.html

    If all that appears fine then it may simply be your USB Loader. Give a different one a shot.
