No vulnerable IOS in an unknown motherboard

I recently bought a wii motherboard from Hongkong, China thru ebay. It's on 4.0U. Tried to run Hackmii and later Bootmii but I got the No vulnerable IOS. Used dopmii and found out that it's CIOSCorped.

    I could follow this guide
    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...lling-hbc.html.

But I'm not sure if it is a Korean wii. I bricked a korean wii trying to overcome a no vulnerable IOS so I'm cautious now. Please guide me.

That guide will not brick a Korean wii. Just do the first part and install the ios34. You should also install cIOS70-v6174.zip and cIOS80-v6174.zip, these will prevent N from giving you the 003 error.

As for the cIOSCORP. Uninstall the corp ios and install darkcorp if you wish. Or not. There is a guide in our recommended guide for this uninstall if you need it.

    ok so I will install ios34, cIOS70-v6174.zip and cIOS80-v6174.zip.

I think I won't touch yet the CIOSCorp. Maybe later if I already installed a bootmii.

If I want to upgrade to 4.1, I just install patched 60 and system menu 4.1U right?
