RE: My MH3 won't go online anymore.

So let me get this straight: you softmodded, then accepted the 4.3 update? Umm.... Priiloader is a wonderful utility/tool, guessing since you followed Messie's guide you didn't install it. You might want to have a look here.
No, you didn't get it straight.

Please let give me a chance to respond before you close my thread again. I never updated to 4.3, I am saying you might need to have v4.3 to connect to the MH3 servers. Sorry if I wasn't being clear. I tried to be as detailed as possible, but I guess I left some obvious things out.(New to the softmodding world as you can see)

I don't want to install MH3 on my hdd and load it from there because I own the retail disc, and would rather run the game from there.

    EDIT:

And I read that you actually have to do certain things to get the MH3 to work properly, and I would rather avoid that route seeing as how I already own the game.

I just want to know why I can't connect to the MH3 servers anymore because I haven't done anything since the last time I tested online play, and the only thing I can think of is the recent 4.3 patch, which is why I brought it up.

You don't need the 4.3 update for MH3 online. I am still at 3.2 and I can play it online without any problem at all. I do not know what the problem might be, but it is not the 4.3 update.

Thank you for the response, if it isn't the 4.3 update then I am so lost because right after I couldn't connect to MH3, I popped in the Mario Kart Wii disc, and I WAS able to play online with MKWii. I only went on Mario Kart Wii online to check if it was just my connection.

Wonder if they are having maintenance.

    Is it working now?
I guess the problem is because Nintendo upgrade the shopping channel from v18 to v19 when they released systemmenu 4.3.
Online firmware upgrade will change the shopping channel as well, otherwise you have to install it from WAD on a softmod wii.

However, since you didn't do it and it is running now, then I was guessing wrong.

I suggest the following: 1. Read this thread. 2. The thread was closed because at the time either A. You had updated to 4.3; or B. You are unaware games are IOS-depedent, not System Menu dependent. 3. Do this again (you know, start another thread after yours is closed --- contrary to the forum rules) and there will be repercussions.
