    homebrew quit loading!

Ok my wii was working fine then I tried to load the homebrew channel & it kept taking me back to the wii menu. Then I tried to use bannerbomb to reinstall it but was told I could not I'm guessing because of fake sygn??? I don't know if I should have but I formated my system hoping I could just reinstall after that but it still says I can't. After format I can still load up priiloader & bootmii. I have a copy of the nands & keys but don't know what to do with them or if they are still any good because of the format. Someone please help me. I am running on 4.2U by the way. I had usbloader gx as a channel & it still worked fine.

Follow the "no vulnerable IOS error" Guide in the recommended guides section. Then reinstall HBC. If that doesn't allow you to re-install HBC then follow Section 1, Step 4-a of the "Softmod Problems & Troubleshooting" guide linked in my signature.
    Damn I suck!!!!

If you have bootmii as boot2 (not ios) then you can use bootmii to restore the nand. When you see the bootmii screen press the reset button once then use the power button to scroll over to the last icon (with the gears), then use the power button to choose the red icon to restore the nand. Make sure the nand backup and keys are on the SD card

This should only be used as a last resort. Try my advice first and we will go from there. No need to restore your NAND at this point.

Wow I haven't had a chance to do any of these yet. I just wanted to thank you both because of the swiftness of your replies. I can't even tell you how awesome that is. But I will check out the guide & let you know how it goes. thanks again

Ok krank awesome! I think it's gonna work. But when I was trying to get the games I ripped to play from the hard drive (all I really had to do was set them to play from IOS 222) I messed with all of the IOS setting. I think I really messed them up. I applied patches to all of them! Now I'm sure it was a big bad no no! Is there a guide to what they should all look like?

There is a bit of info about that in the softmod problems guide linked in my signature. Post a sys-check If you want.

kool. post sys-check? I reinstalled every IOS under 200 that had a description that applied to me without any patches. If it didn't have a description then they are uninstalled. I'm about to try & reinstall homebrew now. I'm gonna recheck that post again first. I have another question though. The shop channel won't load now & I can't access connect24 settings. But is it safe to access the shop channel with a hacked wii?

I don't know why you would do that. That was probably not needed. You should have done the guide I told you to and tried to reinstall HBC. There is info on SysCheck if you actually read the guide in my signature. The shop channel is a known issue with a well known solution. Search. Not really sure why you can't get to wiiconnect 24 settings...probably because you went and messed with all your IOS for no reason.

    Us

Ok I got homebrew to load back up. The reason I couldn't load up the connect 24 settings is because one of the messed up IOS was keeping me from reading the user agreements. I still can't connect to the shop channel which isn't really an issue. The real issue is that I can't play mario kart online any more. Besides that the only other issue is that sports resort won't load from my USB loader. The disc was kind of scratched but the rip I had was working fine. I'm going to post the sys check I got. If someone can tell me if something I have in here is wrong I would really appreciate it. My ISO 36 wasn't installed with fake sign but I installed it back with fake sign now the home brew is upside down. If I take the fake sign off it works again. I seen a post about that so I'm gonna look for it. But if someone could help me get my kart back on line I would be so grateful.

I think I said before but I'm on 4.2u & bootme is an ISO if it helps
