    Spyman,

Here are the 2 errors. the first affects 1 disc, while the other one affects 3 discs. No issues with older games like Wii Sports of Mario Kart though

The system files are corrupted. please refer to the wii operations manual for help troubleshooting.

An error has occurred. press the eject button and remove the disc, then turn the wii console off and refer to the wii operations manual for help troubleshooting.

the ones giving you the error has occured press eject....
is likely because the image of the disc is not good or was not burned properly. get a new iso and reburn it.

the 1 disc giving you the system files corrupted is just odd.... can you access your wii settings menu fine ?

    Hi Spyman,

Boy was i delighted to see your swift reply! |)

For error 1, i can't boot up my console when the disc is in the console. It just shows the black screen. I tried loading up Gecko OS and then put in the disc but then the console hangs.

Seems that it must be from a different region, like pal or ntsc-j if you are using ntsc-u

ok well that makes more sense, if you get the jap verson of the game it should work.

    had this problem before.

your wii is not bricked. for some reason, one of hte files just gets damaged or soemthing, but theres an easy, SIMPLE way around this.

Does the wii load to the home screen then automatically show that system files error?

If yes, all you have to do is this:

Be quicker than that error sign. Before that sign shows up, point your wiimote to the disc channel and keep trying to access the channel before the home screen loads up. in other words, enter the disc channel right when the screen loads. then, load a game. quit.

    No more error

This at first freaked me out when i received it. It would go to the home screen, then a split second later, show this system error. Thought my wii was bricked.

That's an interesting proposition. Yah, i dont think my console is bricked since i could still access wii settings and play other games. So load up home, then keep clicking into the disc channel before the error msg yes? and once in, quit and the error should disappear eh? right on. I'll have to try that later today.

I wonder why Nintento Wii has so much of these issues..
