Unhappy No display / sound and well look

first of i would like to say hi to everyone here as im a new member and congratulate everyone on their good work keep it up

well here is my problem i have a wii pal version serial leh 161xxxxx
while playing it the other day the wii became frozen so i tried to turn it of with the power button but it froze so i turned it of at the wall now here is my problem. Upon restarting my wii you hear the disc motor spin and light comes on then i have no picture or sound and my game discs insert into the wii ok start to read but dont spin up but i can eject it again but after a short period the wii just freezes. Now i have stripped the wii down and tested the drive in another and all works ok the drive from the other wii causes the same problem in mine so im kinda stuck i have tried taking the bios battery out overnight unplug etc and bought a mew power supply and also as i have no picture i cant even sync a controller up it appears like i have no warning screen or anything else i have a spare drive with a mod in it so if there is any fix or help out there i would be forever grateful thank you all for reading..

did you try changing the video cables? if so, it sounds like your motherboard got messed up somehow. send in for warranty if you can.

Hmmmmm......I had the same problem with a customer wii and it turns out the mainboard needed correcting and a complete overhaul. Rebuilt that badboy, got it to work but the last updates that they used caused the problem, so I had to downgrade the update....and the wii was a D2B (cut pin)
What version drive your is your wii?

wish i can tell you but these kind of problems it can be sometimes one part gone bad or a handful of parts that can go bad.....time to whip out the multimeter and start testing.
