I can't see apps on homebrew channel after using Homebrew Sorter.

Hello, sorry if something like this has been posted before but I'm in a bit of a hurry right now so I didn't search the whole forum.

Thing is, I was sittin' on my couch minding my own business. I decide to use Homebrew Browser to see if there are any neat new apps for me to use and I find this peculiar one called 'Homebrew Sorter'. I decide to download it because its supposedly easier to use than 'Categorii'. So I downloaded it successfully and when I use it it boots up fine but when I clicked on 'Emulators' it suddenly took me back to the HB channel listing only itself and Configurable USB loader. I open it back up again to see if I could fix it but it instantly gave me a black screen with a strange error(flash dump or something like that can't remember well). I couldn't turn the wii off(its happened with other apps like ocarina code downloader) I have to unplug the wii and plug its power cord back in to turn it on. With the other apps its works just fine but after this one's error I open up the homebrew channel and no apps are displayed at all! not even HBS! I tried formating my SD and putting the apps back in it(yes they were still in the apps folder before the format) and I go back to the HB channel and still no apps displayed. Is it some sort of configuration inside the wii itself? do I need to reinstall he HB channel? or is it something else?

Thank you for any and all help, its appreciated in this time of need now that my mother can't play NSMBW(shes starting to get cranky)

That was the third thing I did, also I forgot to add that I installed cUSBloader as a channel before and it won't start either(I know it has to load its proper config files from the SD and the ARE there but it won't read them also I can delete/copy channels and saves from the settings menu of the wii)

And oddgriffin I read that page carefully a few times and the sorter did not add .bak to the apps and stuff(I made a backup of the SD before formating)

I will try to use Twilight Hack to install HBC again, if that doesn't work then mom will have to keep playing crash:mind over mutant on the PS2 for the rest of her life.

Edit: I reinstalled the HBC again, everything is in fine working order now, thanks for your help guys!

Yes that is an app that is rarely used and noone to the best of my knowledge has asked about it here. that is the webpage that also has a discussion tab as well. We didn't create the app and it is hardly used by anyone here so while you wait for someone to come along, I offer this to refer any known info on.

    Sorted

    Hi
I had the same problem and decided to uninstall homebrew sorter alltogether.
This is how I did it:
    a) Put your SD card out of the Wii and into the PC
    b) Remove the file "list.txt" from the homebrew sorter folder.
    c) Put SD card back into Wii
    d) Restart Wii
    e) Open Homebrew browser
    f) Select Homebrew Sorter (yes thats right)
    g) Wait....Wait
    h) select "ALL" from homebrew sorter
    i) Now u should see all your apps
    j) and delete Homebrew sorter

    Thats it.
    I hope it will help

Thanks for your reply, but I already uninstalled homebrew soter, so there is no list.txt to delete. Any other suggestions? I can't see any files.
