BootMii on new Boot2

I have BootMii installed as Boot2

My current Boot2 version is 2 according to DOP-Mii

If I update it to v4 it will delete BootMii from Boot2

Will I be able to re-install BootMii as Boot2 after updating?

what are the effects?
would all the homebrew still work?

should I do it?
