    Anybody from the UK here care to help?

    I have got the hombrew channel but I want BBC iPlayer however I need to update to be able to download this but i've heard updating will brick the wii. Any ideas on how to get iPlayer?

    You can safely update the Shopping Channel following this guide HERE and then BBC iPlayer should be fine to install.

    Sorry but it's been ages since i softmodded my wii. So, how do I install the latest show channel and where do I put the files :S

    did you read the guide I linked for you? The instructions for where to put the unzipped files and to run from HBC is stated? Or has it been so long ou forgot the SD card part: format a 1 or 2 GB SD card from your PC as FAT32 use the full format option please not the quick format. Create a folder on the SD card named Apps-that is where all homebrew app folders go. inside each homebrew application folder is the file that HBC sees and runs a file named boot.dol.

    HBC runs apps, .wad files are copied to a folder on the SD card named WAD and installed using Wad Manager.

    Read and follow the guide now. good luck.
