    help with d2pro please

    hi guys as you can see from the pics ive got a gc2 d2c wii.i bought a d2pro v4 wiiclip i followed the instructions and cliped it onto the d2c chip.when i insert a backed up game or an original the red led lights for a second but no blue led even when i insert the utility disk r backed up game any help would be great

    check to see if the clk solder bridge is shorted (i.e connected) if not you need to solder the clk bridge

    i cant see the clk anywhere to connect it can you have a look at my pics to see if you can see it.is it on the d2pro or the clip realy sorry as im a noob.also the red led only lights up after i insert a disk for the first time after i turn it on at the wall if i eject it and insert it again i dont get any red led nothing but if i turn of then on again on the wall then insert a disk i get the red light for 1 sec.thanks for your time

    Yours is the older D2Pro (13/15/19 wire) so there is no clk bridge to short. From coparing your picture to the one on the wii-clip site (LINK) it seems to be correct. Di you check the underside of the clip to see if any of the pins are bent or not aligned. If any od the pins do not make connection to the wii drive chip then you you will have problems.

    they all look in perfect condition. im thinking of soldering it myself can you post a diagram and instructions on what wires go where for my setup.i realy apreciat your time with this ive just had a look at the 9 wire install heres a link to ithttp://www.d2pro.com/downloads/installD2pro5-9V1.4.pdf.if this is vorrect it doesnt show you were on the d2pro where these wires go

    The installation guide can be found here -> d2pro : Resources The guide for 13/15/19 is what you would need to look at.

    How long have you had the modchip? Do you know if the firmware is latest, the link above also has the latest firmware for download if its not already at the latest version.

    ive only had it a month i have no way of knowing what firmware is on this chip

    theres ping arrows and green arrows but it doesnt show you where these points are to be solderd on the d2pro?

    well the D2pro have the letters embedded on the modchip PCB. take your time and carefully follow the letter from the point and corespond it to the chip, it's very easy and fun.

    i was looking at the wrong pic lol.so whats the best to go for the 13/15/19 wire install?
