Us Upgraded to 4.2 followed rehacking guide-Nothing Works now Please Help!!!

I'm an amateur so please bare with me. I had soft moded my wii awhile back I believe on version 3.2, couple versions before 4.2. Installed homebrew, multiple WADS, running games off of USB, worked perfectly. I updated to 4.2 to other day, obviously non of my hacks worked. I guess because now boot2 is no longer available on 4.2. So I followed this guide:
    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...y-4-2-wii.html
Installed Bootmii as an IOS, went through the tutorial completely. Read through this site completely reading all the 4.2 guides.
I am now unable to launch games through USB or DVD through Neogamma, getting error code 1053 when lauching through DVD. I am not even able to play original game disc through the disc channel, I get a Disc read error also. I know my hardware is fine, was working 2 days ago before the update. I did do a NAND backup right after the update before attempting to rehack my wii which broke everything. I read you really shouldn't do a NAND restore when you have bootmii installed as an IOS.
I tried cleaning up the wii files following guides on here and attempted the follow the 4.2 again, same result.

Sorry for the long email but have been working on this for 2 days straight, about ready to go buy a new Wii. Has anyone had this problem. any suggestions on how to at least get my original games playing through the Disc channel?

If you had bootmii/boot2 before you updated you should still be able to install it as boot2 now that you are at 4.2. All 4.2 does is install stubbed ioses to prevent the running of homebrew apps.

Hey thanks for the reply. Yeah its one of the guides I followed, I always end up with the same result, not able to play anything through neogamme or through the disc channel. My wii is about a year old so I don't think it has anything to do with a chipset

If your wii is a year old the you definitely don't have boot2 capabilities. I don't recommend reinsalling you nand with bootmii/ios. It has been know to fail regularly and if it does your are pooched. You might have one of the new D3-2 drives that won't allow you to play disk backups. What I am concerned with is that you say you can't play your original disks cause you should be able to. Did you try they other that Pob3008 linked you yet?

Looking at the syscheck ios 15 is at the lowest rev, and is different to my own. Also usb function is disabled on your ios 250,249,223,222,202. I'm not sure where to go from here a few things on the syscheck are different from my own, are you sure you have followed the guide exactly and didn't run into any issues when doing it?
