    need serious help

    ok guys here is my situation .......bought a a wasabi v2 chip and wiiclip v5 installed it and powered up the wii and have a black screen on the tv. took out chip and still the same problem. so i got a replacement drive and still the same problem. the drives accept discs and video feed is going through the av cable bit i keep getting a black screen can anybody help

    Did you check that all connections to the drive are securely connected. Since the replcaement is not working then it points to something else that is wrong and probably not the drive. Just recheck ALL the connections. Otherwise you may want to have it fixed it on the Warranty.

    yeah all the connections are good what else could be the problem

    Are you able to confirm that the video cable is good by trying it someone elses wii.

    Looks like your fried the Wii Motherboard.. does the PRESS A screen come up? If yes, then right after u press A
    ..that's when it goes black right? it's a motherboard/firmware issue..
    This happened to a friend of mine.. he tried to install a modchip.. messed it up.. and his
    Wii was gone.. im hoping that's not the case though.. if yes.. i'll buy your dvd drive..
