Red face Dummies guide to Band Hero. [Solved]

    Hi Guys,

I've managed to back up my Band Hero game but I can't seem to get it to play, from a search it does seem like a common thing but the posts don't make sense on what to do to me.

Can someone please explain (as though they're talking to a really dumb person) how to do this? All the numbers and acronyms just confuse me.

My Wii is running on V4.2, I have used bannerbomb and bootmii installed on IOS, I have a WAD manager (wadmanager14.wad) and Neogamma R7.

I have my other back ups working fine but can't figure this one out, Neogamma see's the disc but the screen just goes black.

Despite reading these forums religiously for the past few nights I still can't work a lot of it out and I end up looking like this >>>>>

I came across this but the hack was different to how I did mine so wasn't sure how close I could follow it.

Thanks for any help guys, I appreciate questions like this come up often so it probably frustrating.

Sorry, I forgot to add that in my post.

It is via disc and as for if its the new Band Hero, I didn't realise there was a new one so I presume not.

First download and install this wad:

RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting - Easy Filehosting

    Then download softchip:

    Softchip r99-SFTC.rar

IOS 223 (use the + button to change)
    Remove 002 Protection: Enabled
    Load Requested IOS: Enabled

    Press A, then insert game.
Try re-burning the game at 1x if this does not work.

Worked for me, hope it helps..

    Thanks Wiicker.

Just to clarify (as I said me = dumb person), do I install them both with WAD manager as I did with Neogamma? Or am I way off the mark here?

Thanks, as soon as rapidshare lets me have a download spot (I'm a lowly freeloader) I'll give it a bash!

Ok I have a problem already, when trying to install CIOS56-64-v5146 I get

    Mounting device ....... Ok!
Retrieving file list ...... Error! (ret = -1)

I have only the WAD in my SD card and its in the root.

    Any ideas?

Edit - I've been searching the forums, do I need to install CIOS38_REV14INSTALLER? Or something like it?
