Problem loading wads from SD Menu
Hi to all.
I've got a WII 4.1E and everything works as it should. HBC, USBLoader GX, NeoGamma, all is fine. Just a strange problem that I'm still not able to solve.
All the VC games that I've downloaded from WII Shop are ok, the issue starts when I try to install wads downloaded from the web. From HBC using WAD Manager 1.4 seems that the file has been installed. Then opening the new channel from the WII menu, works.
If I move this channel to the SD, it doesn't. This happens quite often.
Getting some info about my IOS setting from USB Loader GX, it says that I'm running Rev874c IOS249 (Rev 14).
I've been looking on previous threads on this forum and probably I need to install another IOS, I just don't want to mess my current wii setup. It's running perfectly thanks to the advices that I found on this community.
Can someone help me, please?
Why are you moving it to an SD card? Also try to install cios rev17.
Faster than light!!! ^_^"
Cause my WII needs some free space, too many stuff on it...
Do you think that installing cios rev 17 will solve it?
No that is just for update. And when you move or delete wads via data menagement,it doesnt delete or move tickets and they are vital for wads.It just moves banners ,images,text,etc........
Thanks wiicker for the info, what you suggest as proper way to install wads into the SD Menu?
Best app is wad manager 1.3.
wad manager 1.3.zip
Just copy wadmanager13 folder in apps folder.
But remmember they can easily cause banner brick so use them on your own risk!

I've got already the version 1.4 of the wad manager into the HBC, actually I was going to upgrade it to the latest 1.5 to see how it goes.
May I ask you why I should go for the previous release?
You can use any but i just love 1.3
have you tried GUI Wad Manager?
Downloaded WAD Manager v1.5
Here what I did into the installer:
- Select IOS version to use: < IOS249 >
- Select NAND emulator:< Disable >
- Select source device: < Wii SD Slot >
After a bit:
- Wii restarterd
- From the Wii menu moved the channel to the SD
- Open the SD Menu
- Again... Error! can't load
Any advice please?
