    Exclamation lots o' problems

A few months ago, i softmodded my wii with the great help of wii hacks .com.

Today, my wii is very disfunctional. My old gamecube games won't work in the disc loader anymore, usb loaders crash, preloader doesn't detect hb channel and its all very frustrating.

Is there a way to fix these problems? otherwise, is there a way to just clear everything i have on the wii except for save files and re-mod it? I don't have a nand backup unfortunately.

    Thanks

Thats what Im thinking... Since you can get into preloader, you can try to launch a .dol file of an save xfer prog from there if you cant get the HBC.

If you can get into the system menu, just re-mod it....

the wii does NOT have cioscorp and everything seems fine from the system menu. i used wiiscu to update some of the ios files, but thats about all I did after hacking it. When I hacked it though, i did do a system downgrade from 3.4u to 3.2u

run an app called pimp my wii. you can update/fix any ios on your system. i use it on every wii i touch. great app, will auto update you to 4.1 tho. but you can run it and just check your ios's for problems without changing anything.

I would just do a clean install, to be safe, and make a nand backup, and make a nand backup, and make a nand backup. Its a good idea to make a nand back!

Follow this guide to re-mod your wii, this is probably the best and cleanest I've seen. Also if you do have cioscorp, use the uninstaller provided in the tut before you start, it will save you much headache. Make sure you read it entirely before you even touch your wii.
