    Black screeen / IOS issue?

I'm running a 3.4U sys menu wii with cios38rev14 and neogamma r4 and had no issues up to now with some newer games. The wii is not freezing but I am getting a black screen when I load the game through neogamma and it says to check the wii operations manual, but it allows me to reset the wii. The last IOS's I installed were:
    IOS38-64-v3609.wad then IOS38-64-v3610.wad
    IOS53-64-v4113.wad
    IOS55-64-v4633.wad

and most games work. Up to now, most games with update 4.2U on them work, except for the occasional one here and there. I was reading abit on the site and found out how to check the ISO for the required IOS file with scrubber and iospatcher. After reading up on that I have a few questions.

    1. If I extract the IOS from the ISO and install it with wad manager, could this brick the wii, or not, considering the IOS is on the disc ISO?

    2. Would it be easier to install the required IOS extracted from the ISO, or would it be better to patch the IOS number on iospatcher?

    3. Would installing the following IOS's fix the problem, and if not, is it worth installing them to update the older ones I installed?
    IOS38-64-v3610.wad
    IOS53-64-v5149.wad
    IOS55-64-v5149.wad

    4. For a specific game: I just made a backup of DREAM SALON for my little cousin and when I try to run it, it also gives me a black screen with neogamma saying to check the wii operations manual. I used iospatched and it said IOS53, so I loaded the IOS into WiiScrubber and looked for that IOS and it was IOS53-64-v4113.wad. This is the same verion that I installed a while back when they were recommended for newer games. Any idea why this game won't work if I have that IOS already installed?

    I would appreciate any help.
    Thanks in advance

No games have 4.2 on them, not a single one.

Your Black screen issue is not neccessarily a IOS issue, these errors are freezes on black screen with no message.

    1. Not unless you go messing with System IOS 30/50/60/70

    2. Better to use IOS from NUSD, then disc, then IOSpatcher. Patching works just for 1 game, the next game will need it and then next aso.

    3. No, Yes,

    4. The error is probably something else. Does it give a number?
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

That is my mistake, I meant the update of 3.4U_v1, 95% of the games that have that update on them work for me, theres only the select few that give me this exact same error.
Well, as I went to put in the game to get the exact error to tell you, this time the game loaded. Any idea why that happened?
I am going to try a previous game that didn't work to post the error. I don't think there was a number, all it said was to consult the wii operations manual in white on a black screen. I will try to get that error now to let you know exactly but if you know why this happened the first time, let me know

The message I get on some newer games is on a black screen and the writing is in white and says:
The disc could not be read. refer to the Wii Operations Manual for details.
The wii is not locked up though, it allows me to reset instead of having to hold the power button to reboot.
Any ideas what may be the problem?

It can't be that, 2 of the games that gave me that error the first time, when I try the game again on the same disc that it failed the first time, it works the second time. Still getting it on few others though even when trying the second time. Still looking for more of the discs that gave me that error, I had a few but for now 2 out of 3 of them started working.

Just got a backup of "Hooked Again! Real Motion Fishing" and when I tried to run it, game disc is recognized but I get a back screen with a khaki green rectangle saying "The Game Disc could not be read. refer to the Wii Operations manual for details." Its similar to the other one except this one is in a rectangle. Any ideas on it?
    Thanks

    bootmii load

ok i couldn't figure out where to post this so i'm posting it here. I followed a soft mod guide on youtube called 4.2 ultimate softmod guide by drmodz. It's an awesome tut but when i get to the point where i go to launch bootmii it starts to launch but then it gives me error: loading boot.dol fromsd card reader, could not load boot.dol? It just keeps scrolling down the screen and saying the same thing like it's trying to launch but it doesn't? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
