Ahh! Thanks emuhack for all the help!! While looking around I finally found another post that said I may have a bad cIOS and to go back through the steps again. In doing that I found an error that I apparently missed back in the CIOS35 installer (ret -1035). Fixing (whatever that is) should probably fix my mounting issue.

    Thanks again!
And mods you can close this thread since it is a whole different issue entirely now.

Sorry I'm too late. cIOS error sounds spot on.

But after reading I'm actually having an issue with a bad .wad or CiOS if I'm reading it correctly. I'm trying to now run the 4.1 updater so I can return it to a full virgin and try from step one again. But each time I try to load it all I get is a black screen.

It was recommended to another person on another form to do the full Nintendo 4.2 upgrade because that'll uninstall everything but people here are against that so I don't want to do it lol especially because I don't want to brick my day old Wii.

Should I make a new thread?
