    Question about Shadowsonic2īs guide.

Step 5 - Install and Patch A Few More IOS

    a) Load up homebrew, then load up DOP-IOS MOD. Load IOS36 or IOS249, browse for the IOS, Navigate to IOS53, press A to install and say yes for Sig Hash Check (Trucha Bug). Do the same for IOS55. Next press home to return to homebrew channel.

Is there any way to patch IOS53 and IOS55 offline. I cant access my wifi router because my Wii doesnt recognize it .

I think thats why NSMB doesnt work...and yes i checked the guide for NSMB.

    Thanks in advance

I would imagine so. Both my IOS53 and IOS55 are straight from NUS without Trucha and they seem to work just fine, not on 4.2 though, if that makes any difference.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

    Thanks for the fast answer.

Thats exactly my problem. Im on 4.2...so i guess ill just have to wait and see if there will be some other way to do this in the future.

Im pretty sure i have IOS53 and 55 since i can play games that require these IOSes to run, but i cant get NSMB to work and i guess thats the reason why...

    Thanks again.

i guess the next step that i would do is why cant your wii see your router and get that fixed so that you can get online...

Ill eventually solve that too, maybe buy another router or something...or try and see how i can enter the routerīs settings...damn network provider installed it and left me with no instructions and a no name router(i think).

My ISP is Ono, iīm from Spain.

Im using Windows Xp. Ive been told i should try to get into the routerīs settings and allow my wii (through itīs MAC) to connecto to router. Problem is i dont know how to connect to the router.

I tried http://192.168.0.1 and no luck
